The challenge
A league's audio identity had drifted over decades: broadcast bumpers from one agency, app sounds from another, stadium cues licensed track by track. Ahead of a new media-rights cycle it needed a unified system that could be governed centrally but adapted by clubs and broadcast partners.
Our approach
We architect the identity as a system, not a single asset: a core league theme, a harmonic framework every club anthem must respect, a kit of broadcast bumpers, and a stadium cue library tuned for live sound reinforcement. Everything is authored in stems so partners can remix without breaking the brand.
Process
1Phase 01
Audit & align
Every audio asset in use across the league, broadcasters and clubs catalogued, with overlaps and unfavourable licences flagged.
2Phase 02
Strategy
A sonic territory defined with league marketing and broadcast partners, with room for each club's identity inside it.
3Phase 03
Compose the core
The league theme in several lengths and a harmonic mode every club track inherits.
4Phase 04
Build the kits
Broadcast bumpers, in-app cues and a stadium PA library, each shipped as finished mixes and stems.
5Phase 05
Enable the clubs
DAW templates, sample packs, a brief framework and a sign-off rubric, taught in a workshop.
6Phase 06
Govern
A central audio review board, an annual refresh cadence and a rights-clearance workflow for partner audio.
